We have an area in our yard where, after heavy spring rains, the water puddles. After hearing many times about a rain garden initiative in our area, I decided to investigate. This book was informational, but, perhaps, a bit too focused on community areas such as parks and schools. However, it has a great list of trees, shrubs and plants which thrive in wet conditions. I'll be consulting this one again when we get closer to building our own rain garden.
